I'm running for township trustee because Summit Township is facing some tough challenges in the next few years. Revenues are shrinking, jobs are hard to find, and people are losing their homes. We need new ideas to provide for our citizens. We need to promote our assets, preserve our resources and add, where it makes sense, new programs/technologies to serve our community even better.

I have experience handling large budgets in my job at the University of Michigan. I have been a small business owner, so I know the pressures of running a business. I also manage our household funds, so I know about sitting at the kitchen table and working only with the money I have to balance our budget.

I look forward to working for you, and with you, to make Summit Township even better!
