21st Century Challenges
Revenues keep shrinking while costs keep rising, meaning we all have to do more with less. We need to work together as the County with the City and Townships whenever and wherever it makes sense. We need to be flexible and creative. We need to harness innovation and the productivity benefits of the Internet to serve Jackson County residents. We need to open dialogue between the business, non-profit, and academic communities. We need to listen to anyone with suggestions on "best practices."I pledge to work closely with the City, Region 2 Planning Commission, and our Townships, so that residents don't get any unpleasant surprises.
